J-Dawgs

If you live in Provo and you have not heard of J-dawgs, it is time for change.

Just south east of BYU campus is a red shack that used to house the best Dogs I have ever had. They are simple and tasty. I have eaten there more often than anyone really should, but they are that good.

J-Dawgs has recently expanded and moved to the building right next to the red shack. You walk in and have 2 choices Polish or Beef hot dog. I always get the spice filled polish dog. After the Dog cooks the line for the food brings you to the condiments. Special J-Dawgs secret sauce. Sweet and Spicy, good by itself on the dog if you like that. I get everything though. Sauerkraut, Banana Peppers, Jalapeño Peppers, Onions, and  long Dill Pickle quarter. I love everything on it because I get every taste bud going at once: sweet, hot, sauer, bitter, and salty. I get two if I am really hungry.

Chips... awesome yet again. Tim's jalapeño, Maui Sweet Onion, Tim's Salt and Vinegar. Drinks from the tap include Apple beer, my favorite. Pepsi and Mt. Dew.

There are too many favorites. I am giving this one because this is my standby, great for dates, bad day at school or work, you name it. It is real comfort food and even good for picky eaters. Affordable, Clean and Authentic. Favorites: California Burrito, Grilled Chicken Nachos (available halfed also), Chicken Flautas, and if you like Horchata do not miss Diego's.
